New Student Organizations

Mercer hosts around 100 active student organizations, but if you're interested in forming a new organization our Student Life and Organizational Affairs committee will help you through the process. For a list of the current organizations on campus please visit the Office of Campus Life's comprehensive list here.

How do you become a new organization?

  1. Schedule a meeting with Carrie Ingoldsby in Campus Life
  2. Caroline Loos, the SLOA chair, will contact you once the documentation has been received from the previous meeting
  3. Caroline will meet with you prior to a senate meeting where you will be seeking approval from the senate body on behalf of your student organization.
  4. Your organization will present your constitution and be questioned by the Senate body for final approval.
