What We Do
A Breakdown of SGA at Mercer
If you are wondering what the Student Government Association (SGA)
at Mercer University does for you, then you are in the right place.
In short, we are a body of representatives, elected by the
student body, that serves as a liaison between Mercer University's
administration and you, the students body.
SGA meets weekly to
actively discuss and vote on pertinent issues that regard the student
body as a whole at Mercer. If any student disagrees with anything that
the university may implement, then we are here to serve you assuring we
do all in our power to accomplish the best solution that will achieve
the most good for the most students. If there is anything we could help
you with, or if you have any questions, please contact one of your
class representatives as soon as possible; if you don't let us know
what's wrong, we cannot fix it.
Your Student Government would love for you to attend any of our
meetings, which are open to the public - every Monday at 5:30pm in
Conference Room II of the Connell Student Center - to get a firsthand
look at what we do!
